Repository Policy

The Pakistan Journal of Rehabilitation (PJR) supports the responsible sharing of research outputs while preserving the integrity of the published scholarly record.

• Preprint: Authors may deposit and share the preprint version of their manuscript (before peer review) on recognized non-commercial preprint servers, institutional repositories, or personal websites prior to submission or during the review process. However, simultaneous submission of the manuscript to another journal is strictly prohibited while it is under review by Pakistan Journal of Rehabilitation (PJR) and awaiting decision from the Editorial board.
• Post print (Accepted Manuscript): Authors may deposit the accepted manuscript (after peer review and acceptance, but before copyediting and typesetting) in institutional or subject repositories. The deposited version should acknowledge its acceptance for publication in Pakistan Journal of Rehabilitation (PJR)and, once available, include the full citation and a link to the published article.
• Published Version (Version of Record): Authors are encouraged to share the DOI or the official link to the final published article. Deposition or redistribution of the Version of Record published by the Pakistan Journal of Rehabilitation (PJR) is permitted only in accordance with the journal's copyright and licensing policy. Authors are responsible for ensuring that repository deposits comply with the copyright agreement and licensing terms of the Pakistan Journal of Rehabilitation (PJR).
