Open Access Policy

Pakistan Journal of Rehabilitation is a fully open-access journal. All articles are freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication, with no embargo period. Readers may access, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and use the content for lawful purposes without financial, legal, or technical barriers, in accordance with the license terms.

Copyright

Upon acceptance of a manuscript, copyright is transferred to the Pakistan Journal of Rehabilitation. PJR retains copyright of all published content.

Licensing

All articles are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license allows others to copy, distribute, and adapt the work in any medium, provided the original source is properly cited.

Author Rights

Authors do not retain copyright. However, they are permitted to:

  • Share the accepted version of their manuscript in institutional repositories or personal websites, provided proper citation to the final published article in PJR is given.

  • Reuse their content for scholarly, educational, or non-commercial purposes with acknowledgment of PJR as the copyright holder.

  • Request permission from PJR for reuse in commercial or derivative works, which will be granted in line with CC BY 4.0 provisions.
