PERCEPTION OF PHYSIOTHERAPIST ON EFFECTS OF ELECTRICAL STIMULATION AND ULTRASOUND ON GRADE V BELL’S PALSY ON EARLY TREATMENT

BACKGROUND AND AIMS
This study was conducted by students of final year batch VI under the supervision of Zulekha Saleem. It took 6-8 months to complete this study. The aim of this study is to find out the effects of TENS or ultrasound for the treatment Bell’s palsy of grade V.
METHODOLOGY
The study was observational study. Therapist from ZIAUDDIN HOSPITAL (north and Clifton) were selected. Data was collected via questionnaire. The sampling technique was simple convenience sampling.
RESULTS
The total number of participants was 45. The findings of the study shows that therapist favor TENS to treat Bell’s palsy patient in grade V rather than ultrasound.
CONCLUSION
The conclusion of this study is TENS is more effective in treating Bell’s palsy grade V than ultrasound.
